Employers Council is seeking a full-time, team-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Specialized Legal Service Department located in our Denver, CO office. Our Specialized Legal Service team supports our members with investigations, labor relations, immigration, and affirmative action services.
This position performs administrative support work specific to our Specialized Legal Services. Assists Attorney’s by performing a variety of administrative duties, such as, answering phones, managing calendars, reserving rooms, booking travel, filing expense claims and stocking office supplies. Coordinate events and training sessions to include securing locations, ordering required materials, preparing flyers and marketing materials, speaker confirmations, coordinating vendors, as well as assisting Attorney’s with preparation of materials. Assists with preparing, uploading and corresponding with our member regarding investigation reports and inquires.
The position is also part of our receptionist relief team, assisting our front desk receptionist with breaks and lunches. Which include directing member inquiries, assisting visitors, and assuming all other duties of the front-desk receptionist.
A successful candidate is organized and demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail in a fast paced, team environment. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly and informatively.
This position reports to the Director of Specialized Legal Services.

- Knowledge of fundamental administrative and clerical procedures, including but not limited to maintaining files, operating phone systems and general office equipment.

- Ability and willingness to master an array of skills associated with administrative duties.
- Must gain sufficient knowledge of Employers Council structure, policies and personnel
- Ability to provide timely and accurate follow through on projects, Attorney, Member or Staff requests.
Desirable additional qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent), post-secondary education preferred.
- Work-related experience in an office environment, preferably at least three years.
- Experience in a Legal support position
